This is a site on rating comedy, computer games and music. I may add more topics but I want to finish off the other three to a presentable degree first. I have videos embedded in the website (thanks youtube!) and put up alotta pictures and stuff. Woo! The website was given a do-over and prettyfied so now its slightly better then it looked a week or so ago. YAY!

I have a few more things to fill out on each section, thats the thing I'm concentrating on at the moment, filling in the gaps! Alot of pictures being added for this purpose, thats why theres a picture for anything thats vaguely different!

Independent Youth Theatre

My web site is based on a drama called I.Y.T (independent youth theatre). Independent youth Theatre was set up in 2004 and it’s venues are based around Dublin 6 Ranelagh/Donnybrook area. The age group is 14-21 so I guess the target audience would be the age group. Last year only 20 people attended I.Y.T. And that was a record of how many attended in years. This year we have 50 members through word of mouth. The purpose is to spread awareness of the I.Y.T drama community and to get new members.

We hold between 5-7 plays a year. The amount of plays we put on depends on how many members we have. We do have fun as well. The I.Y.T teachers are not strict and we try out different types of work shop every week. We also have a I.Y.T committee.

If I made this web site I would make a homepage, make a link dedicated to plays we have and are working on, another for tickets and posters, another for committee meetings and times, another for any venue changes, another for pictures, and another to advertise the I.Y.T drama, another for I.Y.T news (like outings or trips or fees needed for example)and another to sign up.

Sesamie

This is our internet magazine for teenagers. We have added content to our web-site pages and are updating them. We have changed the pages so that most of them have the same lay out so that all of them look like they are part of the website. Here's the link to the main page http://xxgrantyxx.googlepages.com/sesamie.

Monkey World

Hi, this is about the monkey website. Im doing this website with Kate and Emer. We've finished writing all of the web pages and we just have to get them to have the same look. We've also linked them up to each other and published them. The web address for the main page is http://sbarrett123.googlepages.com/primates. Emer and Kate are both out today so I decided to make a monkey fun page, but am not sure if we'll publish it.

My First Class

I arrived in the gates of Muckross for the first time, in around 28 years, on the 10th of September 2007. The last time I was here, was when my dad used to be a commentator on sports day. Nostalgia is great. So after being introduced to the Principal, I was shown to the classroom. What hit me straight away was this ultra modern, bright, colour building filled with lively students lining the halls.

Then, I got to meet all of you. With a varying degree of computer knowledge, a self-confessed average of around 5 out of 10, we set out to learn the basics of web design. To say I was surprised at the attentiveness, was an understatement. It appeared our new class was going to go swimmingly. Well, I suppose sometimes, appearances can be deceiving.
